Success with Fresh Coat Inspires Franchisee to Pursue Multi-Unit and Multi-Brand Ownership

Eric Stavropoulos just purchased his second Fresh Coat territory while simultaneously diversifying his franchise portfolio.

Eric Stavropoulos has always had an insatiable entrepreneurial spirit. He comes from a family of business owners—his parents have been successfully running a mom and pop style restaurant out of a strip mall in Connecticut for more than 40 years. After working with his parents and learning the ins and outs of business ownership, Stavropoulos decided to break out on his own. And with the help of Fresh Coat, the nation’s leading residential painting franchise, he’s now expanding his business.

“I’ve always had a fascination with franchises. His first Pet Wants location—which focuses on pet care and nutrition—is officially open for business. “My goal has always been to grow as a franchisee—the opportunity is definitely out there. I’m a huge pet lover, so it was natural for me to expand with an animal-centric brand. When I found out that the Pet Wants team was linked to the people who have worked tirelessly on my behalf at Fresh Coat, singing a new development deal was really a no brainer,” Stavropoulos said.
