Veteran & Experienced Contractor Brings Fresh Coat Painters to Norman

Herman LenhardtRetired Army Officer and experienced home contractor Herman Lenhardt is pleased to announce the launch of his new painting company – Fresh Coat Painters of Norman.

“Fresh Coat Painters is unique because we’re focused on making sure our customers get top-notch, dependable services provided by team members who are highly trained, bonded and insured and who are using industry-leading products. We are not some fly-by-night business – we are a locally-owned and operated company that’s backed by the support of a trusted, national franchise organization,” Lenhardt said. “My team – who are all employees and not subcontractors – and I look forward to the privilege of honoring and respecting your home. We are committed to integrity and dedicated to excellence.”

Lenhardt, who went to Easthampton High and Hillsborough High School, is a retired United States Army officer with the 82nd Airborne and the 20th Special Forces Group. He started his career working for his uncle’s construction business and, after retiring from the Army, he got back into the building field as a Certified VA Builder as the owner of LCH Creations LLC in 2014. As a Certified VA Builder – and an approved Special Housing Adaptation Grant Contractor – Lenhardt and his team worked to construct, adapt and modify homes to help veterans with certain permanent and total service-related disabilities.

“As a veteran who uses a wheelchair, the work was extremely rewarding, but I felt like my business itself needed additional structure, which is what led me to franchising. Meanwhile, as a builder, I was often asked to do painting projects and I found that many of the other companies didn’t maintain the level of quality and trust I would have expected for my own home. As I was looking into franchise opportunities and I was thinking about those painting challenges, I found Fresh Coat Painters,” Lenhardt said. “Fresh Coat was built on the concept of Painting Done Right! and I love the company’s commitment to raising the bar in the industry.”

“When people see that I use a wheelchair, they are always amazed I own a building company – and now a painting company – but being in a wheelchair is only a problem if I can’t find a solution. When you face a challenge, you can either walk away or find a way around it. I’m looking forward to the new challenges and opportunities I’ll face with Fresh Coat,” he added.
