Inside Fresh Coat's High Performers Group: How Top Owners Grow Together
- September 11 2026
Owning a franchise means running your own business — but at Fresh Coat, it doesn't mean running it alone.
Since 2018, Fresh Coat has brought together its top-performing franchise owners through a High Performers group, meeting twice a year to share results, exchange best practices, and dig into what's driving growth across both the consumer and financial sides of the business. What started as a single group has grown into two, now made up of the top 20 owners in the system — a reflection of how many Fresh Coat franchisees are building thriving businesses and want to keep pushing further.
A Deep Dive with a Trusted Partner
Last week, the larger High Performers group spent two days at Sherwin-Williams' new offices in Cleveland — continuing a partnership that has long supported Fresh Coat franchisees' education and growth. The time together gave owners space to step back from day-to-day operations and focus on the numbers and habits that actually move the needle: a close look at KPIs, peer conversations about what's working, and guidance from experts on how to apply those insights back home.
It's one piece of a broader support system. Beyond events like this, Fresh Coat franchisees have access to coaching, regional meetings, and national gatherings designed to build real skills in business ownership and financial management — the kind of ongoing education that helps owners grow with confidence, not guesswork.
That momentum continues to build toward the 2027 Fresh Coat National Conference, coming to San Antonio, Texas in February 2027.
In Their Own Words
Perhaps the best summary of why these gatherings matter comes from the owners themselves. One High Performers attendee shared this reflection in a post-event survey:
"Being surrounded by successful Fresh Coat owners who are willing to openly share their wins, their challenges, and what they’ve learned along the way is incredibly valuable. I left the meeting with new ideas, a better understanding of my own business, and even more excitement about where I am headed. This is what makes Fresh Coat special — we’re all building our own businesses, but we don’t have to build them alone."
Growth Backed by a Community that Shares It
That's the throughline of the Fresh Coat model: independence with a network behind it. Owners set the pace for their own business, but they're never doing it in isolation — they're learning from peers who've solved the same problems, backed by partners invested in their success, and supported by a system built to help them grow.
